In line with Hampshire County Council vision 2050 statement and the Central Governement Carbon Emissions to Net Zero by 2050, Hampshire has engaged to improve accessibility and promote active travel across the county and in partiular in and around North Camp, Farnborough. The North Camp Accessibility Improvement Schemes are a package of schemes which aims to reflect those goals. These schemes include:

To address the need for improved access and facilities at the Aldershot train station, Hampshire County Council in partnership with Rushmoor Borough Council is developing proposals to improve the area in and around Aldershot Rail Station.
In early 2021, a public engagement exercise was undertaken to seek the views and opinions of local residents and rail users on what additional measures could be included in the scheme to improve accessibility for pedestrians and cyclists in and around the area around the train station and the links through to the town centre. The survey is now closed, but the public can still read the information pack .
